Garage Rock has been a steady factor over decades, in an ever-changing musical environment, since its invention back in the mid-sixties. It was meant to stay, and it continues to inspire the five, well-dressed lads known as The Royal Hangmen. Since their humble beginnings, they emulate the music of their ancestors and make every effort to keep the spirit of the 60's alive. Their raw energy, their inspired songwriting, their exciting live performances - these guys have appeal and style. But it's not just all about„remember the old days", these royal fellows live in the here and now - but they work in the good old-fashioned way. They write, they record, they release and they go on tour and let it all out. They've been to many countries and many weird places, and also managed to share stages with The Sonics, The Pretty Things, Paul Collin's Beat, and The Warlocks, just to name a few.

From the rugged and powerful garage punk of their early years, back in ’87, they have totted up a vast selection with their sights always firmly set on the music of the sixties. They are much more than a retro or revival band. They are, quite simply, a band with a personality of their own and keep on doing their thing!
